Kind of like Cookies N' Cream only--not. Ha! After 4 kiddos you would think I would have all my little ducks in a row, but of course, you know me--I don't! I am forever looking for a deal, and who isn't? I don't just want a "deal"if it's at the cost of the quality of a product. Especially when it comes to my babies! The diapers are the Deal...and the Cream...well, since I don't know what it cost--it's just because I like it--but I will find out before I finish this post.Everyone one tends to have a preference when it comes to diapers. I certainly did or do. I like Huggies. My goal was to find something that was cheaper and comparable to Huggies, but way cheaper. I've tried all the generic, cheap grocery store brands and even the cheaper "brand name" stuff. I know you can buy diapers in bulk for cheaper too. But--By far the best quality for the best price has to be Target's Up & Up brand diapers. The Cost ranges from $6.34 to $13.99 depending on the size & amount. Up & Up's don't feel or look cheap and they hold well. The leakage factor is great. Definitely comparable to Huggies or Pampers. I had tried Target brand in the past (with the other 3 kids) but wasn't happy. This Up & Up brand far surpasses their earlier attempt at diapers.
I also LOVE the Up & Up Wipes! They are way cheaper and very soft. I've tried Kirkland brand in the past, but always went back to Huggies brand wipes, because of my children's sensitive skin. I just recently tried these new Up & Up wipes and was very pleased.
Last but not least: Diaper Cream. As with most of your baby basics, I've tried a bunch. However, a friend gave me Method's Squeaky Green Diaper Cream as part of a gift basket for our newest addition to the Hip family. I love it. It works. It isn't super thick or too thin either. It's the dispenser that is the best part. With the pump, I can single handed-ly pump that junk right on to her little rump! Smooth it out, and wha-la. It seems to protect her little bottom between changes, while also wiping off easily when I freshen her up. The bottle even has a cute design. *See Above* I think it runs at about $4.99-6.99 on various websites.
This Works for Me but, What kind of Diapers & Cream do you use?

I love the new Target diapers! I was surprised that they were cheaper but good. I don't like the wipes at all, though - we'll stick with Huggies. :)
I was surprised as well...and after trying many, many different kinds (and hating every minute of most of them...b/c they pretty much sucked) I was happy that they changed to this new kind.
Just to clarify a little...I did get the wipes in the purple package--the sensitive skin type. So I can't speak to anything other than those.
When I had my first 9 years ago, Target diapers SUCKED! I tried them, and it was a mess. So, I went with White Cloud, which is exclusively available at Walmart. They are about the same price as what you quote for Target's.
For cream, I used A&D ointment for my first because she was sensitive (I couldn't even use sensitive skin wipes on her! I had to use washcloths... yuck!). For my second, I used whatever the hospital gave me. It was thick and white, and that's all I know. :)
I love method, though. (I also love your know background. Very cute!)
I've been buying Huggies D & W b/c it seems I can always get the best deal on them.. and I've tried all the generics too & was dissapointed... Went to BJ's yesterday and since you can use their coupons and manufacture's coupons I saved a bundle on Pampers :) but, will give the Up&Up a try if they are cheaper - thanks for the tidbit!
I love anything Method!
My daughter prefers Pampers Swaddlers for all her kids.
I recently discovered Up & Up, too, and love them! Such a better price.
Thanks for the heads up on the Method diaper cream. I use the Method baby wash and am very pleased with it, so I will definitely try the cream.
